GOD WILL MAKE A NU THANG
Scripture text - ISAIAH 42:9-10 – “9Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. 10Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.”
ISAIAH 43:18-19 – “18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Everybody likes new things. Whether it is a new car, a new house, a new computer, a new cd, a new baby; or if you are a young person, a new toy, a new game, a new boyfriend or girlfriend. Why do we like everything new? Because we know that it will work better than something that is older, that it will last longer than something that is old, and it will be more reliable than something that is old. Just like in 2 KINGS 2:19-21 – “19And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground is barren. 20And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him. 21And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.” MATTHEW 9:16-17 – “16No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 17Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” Well, it is the same way spiritually. Everyone likes a new thing from above. Whether it is a new blessing, healing, or prayer answered. Now, God will make a NU THANG.
New Noise = We remember how the Bible starts out in Genesis chapter 1 verse 3 with: “And God said.” You talk about a new noise, you talk about a great big loud noise. There was total silence at this time and then all of a sudden BANG!!! I can see where the scientists get the theory of a big bang because this new noise was definitely a big bang. Then the Bible goes on to another milestone with the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai as God came down on that mountain with thunderings and lightnings and a new noise for the Israelites. Then in Joshua where the children of Israel had to march seven times around the walls of Jericho doing what? Shouting with a new noise to watch the walls come tumbling down. Then in the New Testament as the Savior dies and is buried and then on the third day a new noise comes rolling the stone away. Finally the new noise in the upper room in Acts chapter 2 when suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind. I’m telling you that every time something big happens and a milestone takes place, there is a new noise. PSALM 33:3 – “3Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud voice.” When we make a new noise unto God he likes that a lot better than an old noise, just like we like new things better than old things. If we are making the same old noise, the same old song, the same old praise, then God is going to grow tired of it and you will not get a new blessing. You want to know why us Pentecostals are so loud and obnoxious? Because God always blesses when there is a new noise made to Him.
God may just quicken your dead spirit like in EZEKIEL 37:1-10 – “1The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, 2And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. 3And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. 4Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: 6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. 7So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.”
God wants to give us a new noise as He did in ACTS 2:6-8, 12-13 – “6Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 12And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.”
New yoU = JEREMIAH 31:22, 31-33 – “22How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man. 31Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
God wants to give you a new you. When you come to him, he will make you new. JOHN 3:3 – “3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” So if you are born again, that means that you become new like it says in 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 – “17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” So you become as a baby again, this time in the spirit, not in the flesh and you have a fresh new start, just like a baby. Therefore you can start living according to how God wants you to live as it says in EPHESIANS 4:22-24 – “22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
God will make a new you if you seek him with all of your heart and this is what He has promised for you in EZEKIEL 11:19 – “19And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:” EZEKIEL 18:31-32 – “31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” EZEKIEL 36:26-27 – “26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”
New Tongues = MARK 16:17 – “17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” God will give you a gift and you will be able to speak with new tongues and this gift will help you build your new you.
New Heaven = When you get this new gift and you give God a new noise, and you become a new you, and you speak with new tongues, God has another new thing for you in ISAIAH 65:17-25 – “17For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. 21And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. 22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them. 24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.”
So God will give you a prize of a new heaven and a new earth when the rapture comes and Jesus Christ comes back to take His church that you will be a part of when you get your NU THANG from God, and this is how it will be in REVELATION 21:1-5 – “1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
New Anointing = So when you get your new heavenly prize, you will get a new anointing that will last until the rapture. This generation will not pass until all things have come to pass. So this is the generation that is to have the new anointing from God as it says in EXODUS 40:15 – “15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”
When you have this new anointing, you can do things that the old anointing could not do, such as NUMBERS 16:28-32 – “28And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. 29If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me. 30But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord. 31And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all theses words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.”
You may think that miracles such as these are not possible today or the things that the apostles did in their day are not possible today. But I’m here to tell you that God is giving us a new anointing and all these things and more are possible. Expect new miracles, expect new healings, expect new revivals. It is not coming, it is here.
New Name = When you become a new creature in Christ, you get a new name. No longer are you termed a sinner, but you are termed a Christian, and depending on how much of a Christian you want to be, you may be termed more than that, especially if you have the new anointing burning inside of you. You may be termed holy, apostolic, and the people of God. Abram got a new name of Abraham when he got his new anointing, Jacob got his new name Israel when he got his new anointing by wrestling with the angel, Saul got a new name of Paul when God chose to give him a new anointing. ISAIAH 62:1-5 – “1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. 2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. 3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. 4Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 5For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.” REVELATION 2:17 – “17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
New Gospel = So when you have received all of this new stuff, what is left? Well you have to use all of this new stuff and put it all into action. That is why God gives us a new gospel to take into the entire world as it says in ACTS 17:16-21 – “16Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. 17Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him. 18Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection. 19And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is? 20For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean. 21(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)”
This world is not familiar with this new gospel. They do not know the truth. They need us with all of the NU THANGs that God has given us to let them know what the truth is so that the truth can make them free and they can get their own NU THANGs.
The world may seem like a huge mountain to overcome, but fret not, because the Lord will help us as it says in ISAIAH 41:14-15 – “14Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 15Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.”
God will put His New Gospel in our hearts, the Word of God, that is sharper than any two edged sword, to cut down any mountains that this world may throw in our way. Whether it be difference of beliefs, opinions, interpretations, or just plain rejections, we can and we will bring this world out of Satan’s bondage and bring them with us to see the New Heaven because God said that He would help us. So let’s do it. Let’s go help God make a NU THANG!

ISAIAH 62:1-5 – “1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. 2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. 3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. 4Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 5For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.” REVELATION 2:17 – “17He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
New Gospel = So when you have received all of this new stuff, what is left? Well you have to use all of this new stuff and put it all into action. That is why God gives us a new gospel to take into the entire world as it says in ACTS 17:16-21 – “16Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. 17Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him. 18Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection. 19And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is? 20For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean. 21(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)”
This world is not familiar with this new gospel. They do not know the truth. They need us with all of the NU THANGs that God has given us to let them know what the truth is so that the truth can make them free and they can get their own NU THANGs.
The world may seem like a huge mountain to overcome, but fret not, because the Lord will help us as it says in ISAIAH 41:14-15 – “14Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 15Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.”
God will put His New Gospel in our hearts, the Word of God, that is sharper than any two edged sword, to cut down any mountains that this world may throw in our way. Whether it be difference of beliefs, opinions, interpretations, or just plain rejections, we can and we will bring this world out of Satan’s bondage and bring them with us to see the New Heaven because God said that He would help us. So let’s do it. Let’s go help God make a NU THANG!
